هذا التّسجيل إلى جانب وصلة ضيّعت مستقبل حياتي من أوّل تسجيلات صالح عبد الحي الّتي اكتشفتها منذ ثلاثين سنة خلت ومن أشيعها، أو هكذا خيّل لي ؛ وقد كنت حسبت أنّي رفعته من قبل، وقد علمت أنّ جودة نسختي (وهي منقولة عن شريط تجاريّ اشتريته من تونس منذ ذلك العهد) لم تكن عالية، ثمّ إنّ هاله الحديدي بثّت الدّور في حلقتها الأخيرة في نسخة ممتازة رغم أنّها منقوصة من التّقاسيم والسّماعي واللّيالي ففكّرت أن أرفع هذه النّسخة إلى جانب ملفّ الوصلة الكاملة حسب إشارة فريديريك، وعند البحث عن موضوع الوصلة لم أجده فانتبهت إلى أنّي فاتني رفع النّسخة الكاملة على علاّتها، ورأيت أن أرفع التّسجيلين : الكامل بجودة متوسّطة والمنقوص بجودته العالية.
This is one of the first recordings of Salih 'abdi-l-hay I discovered thirty years ago. I had a copy of the full waslah featuring a taqsim on 'ud, sama'i shat 'araban, a layali and the dawr, the whole thing in rather average quality and, then, I recorded a better quality version broadcast in the Egyptian radio programme 'alhan zaman, but it has the dawr only and here you've got both files
