This might be a useless question and I will delete this thread if so, but does everybody have the Rashid al-Qundarji CD issued in France some 10 years ago, with Baidaphon tracks ?

The quality is far from high, al-marhum Bernard Moussali did not have the original Baidaphon 78 rpm records. But I guess there was some professional filtering (sorry Amr) that made it hearable.
Note in the first title (maqam gulguli and paste) the amazing octave shift.

THanks Fred for uploading this "document" before i did ..i found it just a couple of weeks ago in the Library of Rotterdam (biggest music Library in Europe they say ) ..rabbena yekhalihum ,where i find out -of -market cd''s every now and then .
would appreciate it if you upload the booklet which i find very useful (it is based on a famous small book by hadj ....what's his name .. i don't remember now )..
It is a pity that most of Qundarji's records are in such a bad condition ,even though they are not that old ,many of them are electrical it seems ..

و أتذكر هنا مقولة التي نقلها لي الصديق أوج الذي تشرفت بمقابلته في القاهرة و حكى لي بعض الحكايات الطريفة عن القندرجي...القنرجي هو صانع الذهب (لا يمتلك الذهب في صوته و لكنه الصائغ الماهر )......

حاتم، بعلمي القندرجي هو الاسكافي، صانع أو مصلح الأحذية، وحتى الآن يسمي العراقيون ما نسميه «جزمة» قندرة...

ويسمّيه الأردنيّون "كندرة" بالكاف.
معذرة ولكن هذا كلّ ما يمكنني المساهمة به في هذا الموضوع.
